Expandable
With options ranging from 10 to 24 cores, with between 16 and 32 threads, the S261 hits the sweet spot for CAD/CAM customers from mid-range to advanced modeling. RAM configurations range from 32GB to 128GB, which is also virtually the total coverage of most CAD/CAM workloads.

Although CAD/CAM systems gain little advantage from more powerful GPUs, if you want to turn your S261 into a more versatile rack-mounted workstation, you can choose from a wide selection of mainstream and professional GPUs to run a wider gamut of software packages.

Storage is provided by an NVMe system drive and an enterprise-class mechanical hard drive, both of which can be upgraded to higher storage capacities. A second M.2 slot gives you the option to add fast storage later without reinstalling anything. A 3x3.5” hot-swappable RAID cage is included as standard in our Titan 4U server chassis, and we’ll gladly configure this for you before shipping your computer.

A 2.5 Gbps Dragon LAN port ensures you’ll get instant low-latency access to your system, but we’ve included a 300Mbps wireless Wi-Fi adapter for situations where the LAN may be down or you need wireless connectivity.
