Dual 2nd Gen Intel Xeon Scalable Processors Workstation PC for Heavy Computing up to 56 CPU Cores

The heart and star player of the W599 is it’s pair of Xeon Scalable Processors. These CPUs have been built from the ground up to accelerate high-performance computing tasks and include a long list of hardware-level features that related to analytics, cryptography and other fields that relate to science, engineering and enterprise applications.

As standard we’ve fitted the W599 with two Xeon Silver CPUs, for a total of 20 cores and 40 threads. However, this build offers a range of CPU options, terminating with a pair of Xeon Platinum CPUs running at 2.7Ghz and providing 56 cores in total for 112 hardware threads.

These powerful processors are kept both cool and quiet using low-noise cooling systems and efficient thermal compound infused with diamond particles.

32GB of RAM is the standard allotment for the W599, but that can be scaled to a full two terabytes (2048GB) of RAM. Regardless of your capacity needs, we only use high-grade error-correcting RAM on our high-precision workstations.

Standard Performance
To ensure efficient energy use while providing both a powerful and reliable source of power, we’ve equipped the W599 with a gold-certified 850W power supply unit. However, depending on the chosen equipment level, this can be scaled to dual 1650W if needed.

An Nvidia Quadro T1000 is standard equipment, suitable for a wide range of rendering and visualization purposes, as well as GPU-computation tasks. There are however a wide range of both professional and consumer GPU options for this machine. In addition, up to three GPU products can be installed in total for either high-end rendering or intensive GPU applications.

The standard OS hard drive is a 1TB M.2 solid state unit, while a 4TB mechanical disk offers storage for media or archived data.
The W599 has the distinction of being the first dual-CPU system that supports M.2 NVME storage technology.

GPU Power
While this workstation is filled with high-grade professional components, it is still housed in a chassis that conforms to full tower case specifications. With enough room for seven hard drives, but still compact enough to slide under a desk. Yet the system is quiet enough so that you would hardly notice it there in the first place.

The W599’s ideal home is in a university research environment or commercial science and engineering organization. From pure mathematical modelling, CPU-based rendering and data analysis to complex fluid, gas and oil simulations; the W599 is ready to take it on.
