The Ryzen 5 9600X is your starting point, but you can take it to the top of the range with the 9950X. AI work can be notoriously RAM-heavy, and the S870 offers up to 256GB of memory capacity, thanks to the ASUS ProArt motherboard, designed for high-end content creators, but repurposed by us for server duties.

Since the S870 is designed for CPU-based AI and machine learning workflows, it includes a modest, yet powerful Intel Arc A750, but you can take your pick of the most powerful GPU cards available today, should the need arise. To ensure your work isn’t interrupted or unstable, we use at minimum an 850W 80+ GOLD certified PSU, but you have the option of higher-wattage hot swappable redundant PSUs for truly mission-critical work.

Speaking of hot-swappable, the S870 comes with a three-bay hot-swap drive bay setup, and a fast NVME drive for the OS and applications, paired with an enterprise-class mechanical drive for mass storage. Getting data to and from your AI workstation server is a breeze with a 10Gbps and 2.5Gbps Ethernet combo, along with multiple high-speed USB 3.2 and USB 4 ports.
