Whether you’re working on video editing, animation, 3D rendering, audio design, and everything in between, your CPU is crucial. The A650 has a 6-core AMD EPYC CPU as standard. Not only does this give you solid baseline performance, as a workstation-grade CPU you’re getting security and reliability a clear step above consumer CPUs. Need more horsepower? Simply choose an upgrade all the way to 16-cores, depending on your needs.

Whichever CPU you choose, the 240mm water cooler with dual fans ensures you always get the most the CPU can give, so that long renders or other sustained CPU loads don’t suffer from throttling. As a bonus, it keeps the noise down too!

The minimum RAM allocation for a serious content creator these days is 64GB in our opinion, so that’s what you get with the A650. However, you’ve got room to scale, since the excellent ROG STRIX B850-F motherboard supports up to 256GB of ECC server-grade memory.

Of course, if you’re working with visual content, your GPU is just as important as your CPU. These days GPUs are used to accelerate all sorts of things, not just 3D graphics and, after all, time is money.

We’ve chosen the Intel Arc A580 as the base option for this workstation because it’s simply the best price-to-performance option. It offers more than enough raw power for most content creators, but you can absolutely push the envelope here. This motherboard combined with our gorgeous Titan CHARIOT mid tower case lets you install up to two NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5090 cards, or any number of A-Series professional workstation cards from the company.

If you do choose to pump up your performance, the default 650W power supply will need a little help, but options up to 1000W are available.

As for storage, we know that content creators often have their own custom storage solutions, such as high-speed NAS devices shared by a team. So we’ve included just a single 1TB NVMe drive with the A650, allowing you to go with whatever media storage solution you’re already using.

However, if you want your storage all in-house, so to speak, you have the option of up to two 8TB SSDs and another two additional SATA drives.
