AI Acceleration Onboard

Nestled in our stylish Titan 4U server chassis is the latest Intel Arrow Lake CPU technology. The base model option comes with a 14-core CPU, but you have the option of up to 24 cores. This allows for multiple CAD design VMs, or using the server for overnight CPU renders, when active design work isn’t underway. Intel’s latest CPUs feature significant AI acceleration onboard, making them ready for local AI features that may come to CAD and other design software.

The professional-grade ASUS Pro motherboard supports up to 256GB of RAM, so even the largest CAD projects should have no issue fitting the largest projects without breaking a sweat.

Expandable

Usually, AI features rely on GPU performance, but high-performance GPUs are a bad fit for CAD workstations given how CPU-bound CAD design and rendering tends to be. Thanks to the AI capabilities of Arrow Lake, the modest yet capable Intel Arc A750 is more than enough, and helps keep the total cost of this system competitive.

However, if you do want to run GPU-based local AI tasks, the S461 can accommodate any of the top GPU options on the market, with enough VRAM and AI performance to cater to any need.

A server is only as good as its reliability, which is why we fit the S461 with, at minimum, an 850W 80+ GOLD certified PSU. Customers also have the option of a redundant, hot-swappable PSU for truly mission-critical systems.

Default storage consists of a fast NVME drive for applications and active projects, along with a large enterprise-grade mechanical hard drive for long-term storage of data and assets. The S461 is equipped with a three-drive hot-swappable bay system, so there’s no downtime if you really need to shift terabytes of data instantly, but in most cases the dual 2.5Gbps Ethernet ports are more than enough to shuttle data to and fro.
